Son of Henry and Harriett Bamblett, of 130, Courcelette Rd., Beach, Toronto, Ontario.

According to a Toronto Evening Telegram article from December 7th, 1916 (see Virtual Memorial record for original), Bamblett had been living in Canada about 5 years when he enlisted in Toronto in 1915.

His brother, William H. Bamblett , had been a reservist with the Worcestershire Regiment, and had served with this Regiment for 9 years in India. He was wounded at Ypres in the first World War and invalided home to Toronto.
