Subject: RE: The Fort Garry Horse Museum and Archives: William TF Curle WWI Gord sent me (Steve Oatway) the "Circumstance of Death" certificate for Frankland. Here is the quote:"Just as the second objective was reached, during the attack on Hill 70, on the morning of August 15th 1917, he was instantly killed by a rifle bullet through the head."He is listed was serving as a Lance Corporal with the 8th Battalion.
