Uploader's Notes:

Husband of Selina Ada Deal of 503 Ferguson Avenue North, Hamilton, Ontario.

It is highly likely that this man died of the wounds received in the Battle of Amiens as the date of death is just days after the battle. There were hospitals around the area of the cemetery this man is buried in and it is likely he was evacuated to hospital due to his wounds.

Uploader's Research notes: Info from the attestation papers and war diary. This man is also on the CWGC site. Wigney's CEF Roll of Honour indicates died of wounds.
