Died of Wounds - on the evening of April 16th 1918, a shell struck the hut in which he was billeted at STEWART CAMP, ROCLINCOURT, wounding him in the left thigh and right leg. He received prompt attention, and was taken to the nearest dressing station and later evacuate to No. 12 General Hospital, ROUEN, where he died three days later.
