Uploader's Notes: Son of Reverend Thomas and Isabella Davidson of Hamilton, Ontario, formerly of St. Ann's, Ontario. Pte Davidson was born on 27 July 1891 in Ballater, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Enlisted at Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, on 24 October 1914. Embarked for England on board the S.S. Northland on 29 May 1915. Embarked for France on 17 September 1915 and disembarked at Boulonge 18 September 1915. Pte Davidson is also commemorated on the Magnetawan Memorial in Magnetawan, Ontario having made the supreme sacrifice. He listed himself as single and worked as a labourer.
