Son of S. L. and Margaret J. Devlin, of 71 Delaware Avenue, Toronto, Ontario.
Reported missing and wounded on September 9, 1916 during the battle of The Somme. A year later he was declared to have died, his body never found.

Mr S.L. Devlin, 71 Delaware Avenue, received a telegram from the Militia Department to-day that his son, Lieut Henry Lyman Devlin, has been missing since September 9.
Lieut. Harry Devlin is a St Andrews College graduate and an undergraduate at Toronto University. Before taking out a commission he was a member of the Daily Star staff for three years, at intervals between terms at the University. Some time after the war broke out he joined the Mississauga Horse, and after taking out a commission joined the 75th Battalion, with which unit he went overseas.He was made a bombing officer and became very proficient at his work.
Lieut. Devlin is in his 21st year.
