Son of Frances Harvey, of 4, Walton St., Dundee, Scotland, and the late Robert Harvey. Served in the South African Campaign.

Uploader's Research notes: Source: LAC files [Private Army Canadian Infantry 27th Battalion B Company Mobilized with the 79th Cameron Highlanders of Canada militia regiment. Private Army Canadian Infantry 27th Battalion Lance Corporal Army Canadian Infantry Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Transferred to the PPCLI Reinforcements draft at Winnipeg. This unit sailed aboard SS Southland, (aka Vaderland) on January 20 from Halifax, arriving at Liverpool on January 30, They were posted to the 12th Battalion at Tidworth the following day. He was posted to France on February 23, joining the PPCLI at rest billets at Dickebusch on March 01. Promoted to Lance Corporal on April 19. Killed in action on May 04 during an artillery attack at Bellewaarde Lake Belgium. ]
