L/C Munro was wounded in the assault on May 3rd but carried on to the objective and directed the work of his section with great coolness and skill. He was again wounded during the counter-attack but stayed with his men until it was beaten-off. He was then ordered out, and on the way, called at Battn. Hdqrs, and gave very valuable information as to the situation.
