Uploader's Research notes: Source: LAC file [Private Army Canadian Infantry 125th Battalion Enlisted at Brantford, Ontario. Trained at Brantford and Camp Borden. Sailed with the battalion from Halifax, Nova Scotia on August 06, 1916, aboard the SS Scandinavian, landing at Liverpool on August 18. The 125th Battalion was posted to Bramshott to be part of the Fifth Division. Posted as part of a reinforcing draft to the 1st Battalion on October 10, 1916. Private Army Canadian Infantry 1st Battalion Posted to the 1st Battalion on October 10, 1916. Spent 4 months at CCAC with 1st Entrenching Battalion. Reported to the 1st Battalion in the field on March 29, 1917. Wounded, gunshot wound, right arm, on April 23, 1917 at Farbus Farm. Returned to his unit on May 20. Wounded a second time, gunshot wound, right thigh, on June 18. Rejoined his battalion on August 31. Was killed in action on November 06, 1917 during the attack on Passchendaele. His body was never recovered. ]
