Son of Alfred Tarrant and Elizabeth Tarrant (nee Light); husband of Helen Elizabeth Tarrant (nee Holmes) married June 27, 1912

A photo and article about Mr. Tarrant appeared in the Toronto Star on 15 July 1916. It was reported at that time that he was wounded and suffering from shell shock. He was described as a veteran of the Boer (South African) War. Tarrant had been in Canada for three years prior to enlisting in 1915. He had worked with the C.P.R. His wife and daughter had recently returned to England.
