"Suicide"

Court of Inquiry convened to investigate the circumstances of the death of Pte. MacDonald, who was found dead near Rouelles Camp at Le Harve on 31st December, 1915, is of the opinion that he met his death by shooting himself through the head with an automatic Colt pistol. During is voyage from Canada early in September 1915, he received an accidental blow on his forehead, and it is thought that he was still suffering from the effects of this at the time of his death.
