Listed on the Nominal Roll of the 85th Battalion. His family was close with my Great Grandparents to the extent that they named a son after this soldier. (Walter Ruggles Ritcey WWII veteran). His grave stone indicates he died on his wounds at Camp Hill Hospital in Halifax.
