As per Ontario Vital Statistics Death Registration (#010528) he died of Heart Disease for which he had been under doctor's care for four months (primary cause: Ulcerative Endocarditis - Secondary: Embolus Coronary). No mention in Death Registration as to any link to military service and no autopsy performed.
