Uploader's Notes: Son of F. W. and Anna E. Sutcliffe, of Lindsay, Ont. He was a field officer with the 26th Battalion in France and then joined the Royal Flying Corps. He died after an engagement with enemy aircraft and a crash landing near Cambrai France. He was originally buried in Epinoy France and his body later removed back to Canada by family. He is one of the few Canadians killed in Europe to be buried in Canada.
