Hockey player and coach. Member of the Hockey Hall of Fame. Played professional hockey with the Regina Capitals of the WCHL, then with the Chicago Blackhawks, where he suffered a fractured skull which led to the end of his playing carreer. He has the third most wins of any coach in the NHL, and led the Montreal Canadiens to the Stanley Cup 3 times. Also coached in Chicago and another central Ontario NHL club.
