[Private Army Canadian Infantry 161st Battalion

Sailed with 161st Battalion aboard SS Lapland from Halifax to Liverpool, October 30 to November 11, 1916. The 161st Battalion was assigned to the 14th Infantry Brigade, 5th Canadian Division at Witley Camp.

The 5th Division was broken up in February 1918 to provide reinforcements to the Canadian Corps in France.

Private Army Canadian Infantry 4th Reserve Battalion Private Army Canadian Infantry 1st Battalion

Proceeded to France on being posted. Attached to the Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp on arrival. Joined the 1st Battalion on June 07 in rest billets at Mingoval.

The 1st Battalion returned to England on March 25/26, 1919 aboard SS Lorina from Le Havre to Weymouth. The battalion was attached to the Canadian Corps Camp at Bramshott pending return to Canada.

Sailed for Canada aboard SS Olympic from Southampton to Halifax, April 15-21, 1919.
