Uploader's Notes: Lieutenant AVC MacPherson of C Squadron (Langley Prairie), 31st British Columbia Horse died at Gallipoli 25 August 1915. The Veterans Affairs website list him as a lieutenant with the 4th Bn Highland Light Infantry while the CWGC list him as a captain, 14th Bn Highland Light Infantry attached to the 5th Bn Royal Scots. Since none of these battalions were at Gallipoli in August 1915, it is entirely possible MacPherson was serving with Flick in the 7th Essex.
