Uploader's Notes: The war diary states that between 12th to 14th August 1918 the battalion along with the 44th battalion were involved in the attack along the line of Fouqeuscourt and Parvillers during which this man was killed. This attack involved about 10 hours of close quarter fighting (hand to hand and bayonets) during which the Commanding Officer states that all men fought very bravely.
