Lieut. J. A. Pearce Wounded
LIEUT. J. A. PEARCE, a Brantford man, with a Toronto unit, has been wounded, according to the latest list. Lieut. Pearce has been recommended for the Military Cross for bravery in the battle of Ypres. He enlisted at the Niagara Camp last summer and went overseas in August. He had been in the trenches since Christmas. When he left Canada Lt. Pearce was in command of the battalion signallers.
