RESEARCH INFORMATION
Son of Theophelus Jones Geary and Mary Eliza Geary (nee Goodson); husband of Jessie Beatrice Geary (nee Caverhill) married March 23, 1927
Mayor of Toronto, Ontario 1 January 1910 - 21 October 1912. Toronto Globe, 22 October 1912.
Supernumerary Staff Officer of the 58th Battalion and mostly attached to other formations within the Canadian Corps. On reviewing his service record, it is very difficult to see where Geary spent time in a combat role in the field, making the award of a gallantry medal (Military Cross) appear to be suspiciously like a patronage award.
Commanding Officer of the 10th Royal Grenadiers March 31, 1924 to December 1, 1926
