RESEARCH INFORMATION
Originally enlisted with the 3rd University Overseas Company and then with the PPCLI before joining The Royal Canadian Regiment for four months. He was wounded while with the PPCLI on April 21, 1916. He was killed in an accident on September 18, 1918 while serving with the Royal Flying Corps.

He enlisted in the 3rd University Company of the PPCLI, #475903 as a Pte on July 12, 1915. He first served in France with the P.P.C.L.I. as a Pte and later promoted to L/Cpl. He was wounded June 20/16 (GSW left arm) and then convalesced in England. He was then promoted to Lieut and spent four months with the RCR in France. Eventually, he was seconded to the RAF and was killed in an aeroplane accident at Duxford Sept.18/18.
