A Nursing Sister named M. Drysdale served at this hospital. Further research is required to confirm if this is the same person. The diary does use the name E. M. Drysdale on a later entry (see below).

For example, a Buxton hospital war diary entry for October 27th, 1916 is as follows: "Oct. 27th. Nursing Sister M. Drysdale reported for duty from the C.A.M.C. Training School."

A diary entry that is an overview of the month of October 1916 states: "N. Sister E. M. Drysdale reported for duty."

An entry from December 1916 states: "Dec.1?th. N. Sister Drysdale is transferred to Canadian Convalescent Hospital, Hillingdon House, Uxbridge." [Date is blurry]

Another entry from December 1916 : "Dec. 13th. N. S. Drysdale struck off the strength on transfer to Hillingdon House, Uxbridge."
