Uploader's Notes: Article in Newspaper states: Mrs. M.K. Douglas, who since the outbreak of the war has been overseas in the capacity of nursing sister, arrived in Peterborough to-day. Nursing Sister Douglas is home on furlough, and it is possible that she may be prevailed upon to address a meeting that is to be held to-morrow evening under the auspices of the Great War Veterans Association. While overseas Nursing Sister Douglas was actively engaged in hospital work on the western front, where her excellent work won official recognition in the form of a decoration conferred by King George.
