There is a large family memorial in Carlisle Cemetery (Ontario) which has a bronze plaque on one side listing all members of the Eaton-Vanduzen family who served in the first World War. Nursing Sister Evelyn Galloway-Richards is listed on this memorial as having served in France from 1917-18. This may be the same person as this attestation with Richards as her married name.

The memorial has another plaque telling the origins of the Eaton-Vanduzen clan. The family descends from John Eaton (1773-1837) and Catherine Vanduzen (1786-1874). John Eaton settled in Burford (Ontario) in 1796, and was later in Saltfleet (1809) and Carlisle (1826). His family history connects him to Francis Eaton, who landed at Plymouth, Massachusetts, on the Mayflower in 1620. Eaton served in the Battle of Stoney Creek in 1813. His wife Catharine Vanduzen was a cousin of Laura Secord.

This memorial is inscribed "Many of His Descendents served in the Great War 1914-1918", with the full list of names inscribed on another bronze panel and including three Nursing Sisters.
